ಯುವಕ ಸಂಘವು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಲಾಭರಹಿತ, ಸರ್ಕಾರೇತರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಯುವಕರ ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಯುವಕ ಸಂಘವು ಉತ್ತಮ ಮತ್ತು ಉಚಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಬಯಸುವ ಹಾಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ವಿಕಸನದ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಹುಡುಕುವ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದೆ.
ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಠತೆಯಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನ ಅರಿಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸುವುದು.
ಯುವಕ ಸಂಘವು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ 1944 ರಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಈಗ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದೆ. ವಿವಿಧ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಪಂಡಿತ್ ಜವಾಹರಲಾಲ್ ನೆಹರು, ಶ್ರೀ ವಿ ವಿ ಗಿರಿ , ಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ್, ಶ್ರೀ ವಿ.ಕೆ. ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮೆನನ್, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ. ಇಂದಿರಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರಂಭದಿಂದಲೂ ಯುವಕ ಸಂಘವು ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ, ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಂಘದ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಬಹುದು. ಇಂದು ಯುವಕ ಸಂಘ ವಿವಿದ್ದೋದ್ದೇಶಗಳ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಾಡಾಗಿದ್ದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಯುವಕರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ತಜ್ಞರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ವೃಂದದ ಜಾಲವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸಂಘದ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳು ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ತಾವೇ ಕಲಿತ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಾಠ ಮಾಡುವ ಹೆಬ್ಬಯಕೆ ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದೇ ಯುವಕ ಸಂಘದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ.
Inspired by Mahatma Gandhiji’s initiatives such as ‘Newspaper Reading Centre’ and ‘Anna Dasoha’, Shri.Annaiah along with Shr V.S. Krishna Iyer conceptualised the idea of Yuvaka Sangha in the year 1943. Yuvaka Sangha focussed on motivating and engaging youth in the freedom struggle till 1947 and later transpired into a great learning centre for Youth. For his remarkable service he was conferred with Karnataka Government’s Rajyotsava award and many other accolades.
