Theme: Must align with cultural, social, mythological or educational values.
Duration: 4 minutes (+1 minute grace).
Language: English, Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam.
Performance must not include vulgarity, un-parliamentary words, or derogatory acts.
2. Story Telling (Solo)

Theme: Stories must be based on Mahabharata, Ramayana, or relevant to cultural festivals.
Language: English, Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam.

3. Skit (Group)

Teams must submit a short synopsis highlighting theme & message.

4. Essay Writing

5. Pick and Act (Solo)

A random prop will be provided, which must be creatively incorporated.
Act must be prepared on the spot (no prior scripts).
No additional props allowed apart from the one provided.

6. Mime (Group)

Team Size: Minimum 6, maximum 10 members.
Act must be original (plagiarism = disqualification).

7. Classical Dance (Solo)

Only classical dance forms allowed (Movie songs prohibited).
Must include both Nritta (pure dance) and Abhinaya (expressive dance).
Costume & Makeup: Considered for judging.
Music: Pre-recorded (good quality) in a Pen drive (Playable Audio format).
Pen drive should contain only the performance audio.
Audio file name: Participant Name Reg No YSYD2025.
Any Indian language allowed.
A Creative Round will be conducted after scheduled performances (at jury’s discretion).
8. Semi Classical Dance (Group)

Theme: Prakruti.
Team Size: 6–8 participants.
Time Limit: 7 + 1 minutes.
Props: Dance-related props only (no weapons).
Music: Pre-recorded (good quality) in Pen drive (Playable Audio format).
Pen drive should contain only the performance audio.

Language: Any two Indian regional languages.
Film songs can be used (must align with theme and decency).
9. Tribhasha Geetha Sangama (Group)

Theme: Patriotic songs (National Anthem and National Song not allowed).
Time Limit: 5 + 1 minutes.
Must blend at least 3 regional languages.
Instruments allowed.
10. Traditional Fashion Walk (Group)

Theme: Indian States Diversity Concepts. Each team must present a minimum of 5 concepts.
Team Size: 10–12 members.
Time Limit: 6–10 minutes.

11. Bhavageethe (Solo)

Poet’s name must be mentioned.
Focus: Shruthi, Tala, Bhava.
Accompaniment: Only Shruthi Box allowed.

Aadhar card is compulsory for age proof.
Each participant can register for maximum 2 track events + 1 field event only.
Sports attire is compulsory for all participants.
All track events will be on a synthetic track.
For Javelin Throw, participants must be 16 years or older.
Registration fee is non-refundable (except for cancelled events).
In case any event receives fewer than 6 registrations, that event will be cancelled and the registration fee will be refunded.
All participants will receive a Participation Certificate.
Trophies will be awarded to the Best Athletes.
Lunch will be provided in the afternoon.
On-the-spot registration is strictly prohibited.

General Rules for All Competitions
Participants must present their institution ID for the current academic year.
Participants must show respect to the organizers, jury, audience, and fellow participants at all times.
Participants should arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled event.
Participants are responsible for keeping the stage and surrounding areas clean and tidy after their performance.
The decisions of the jury and organizers are final and binding, with no scope for appeal.
Violations of the rules or any misconduct shall lead to disqualification.
Participants must adhere to the time limits provided for their performance, including setup and stage clearance.
Participants should coordinate with event organizers to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
